Inclusion Summit 2026: Future of Independence and Belonging

The 2026 Inclusion Summit will bring together professionals, leaders, innovators, and advocates from across the country for a day of learning, collaboration, and connection.
Tuesday, November 17, 2026 | 9:00 A.M. – 4:00 P.M.
The Ohio State University, Longaberger Alumni House, Columbus, Ohio
This year’s Summit will explore how independence, enabling technology, employment, community inclusion, and meaningful connections can help reduce social isolation, strengthen belonging, and improve quality of life.
Professionals working in public health, mental health, healthcare, aging, developmental disabilities, veteran services, education, employment, technology, and community-based organizations are encouraged to attend.
Throughout the day, you’ll hear from respected leaders and experts, including representatives from The Arc of Ohio, Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities, the Ohio Association of Area Agencies on Aging, the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities, the Ohio Association of County Behavioral Health Authorities, The Ohio State University, Miami University, and more.
Why Attend?
The Inclusion Summit is more than a conference; it is an opportunity to connect across systems and discover practical ideas that can strengthen the people and communities you serve.
Attendees will have opportunities to:
- Learn practical strategies for increasing independence and community inclusion
- Explore the role of enabling technology in supporting independence
- Discover approaches for reducing loneliness and social isolation
- Explore person-centered approaches to belonging and community life
- Hear perspectives and experiences from people with lived experience
- Bring new ideas, resources, and partnerships back to your organization and community
Building Independence. Creating Belonging. Ending Isolation.
We believe some of the most powerful solutions happen when professionals from different fields come together, share ideas, and build new partnerships. Whether you work in healthcare, aging, disability services, behavioral health, education, employment, technology, public health, or another community-focused field, your perspective belongs at the table.
